3 amp is fine to test,spade terminals need to be crimped onto the wires using a crimping tool or wire cutters-remember there is a massive difference between testing a part and the correct procedure in its final product-safety is the key word here,yours mainly but also other people using your machine.
what you are now involved in is a fantastic hobby but you must be aware you messing with some high voltages,you can't be complacent or you could get hurt-when i was a trainee many years ago i got a 25,000 volt shock from a tv monitor and it ain't nice

i got one of these machines. have u got a picture of the payout solenoid which is connected to the mpu4 because mine isn't connectted and i don't know how to connect it up

well put it this way it has no electronics in it is wood and thats that i have just put a mame keyboard adaptor in it
