Nintendo "Entertainment System" Font , anyone ever come across this?

Just me again,


I was just wondering if during anyone's quest for artwork & fonts , arcade related, if they ever came across the font used in the words "Entertainment System" on the face on the 8bit NES?

Even trying sites like Identifont & WhatTheFont, I'm not quite able to find a match, of any kind.

Would you classify it as a SciFi style font?

Looks like an alternate verison of the "namco" font, with capital versions of some of the letters (like "E" and "A")

As you can see, many of the letters match up, but not all.

That'll work.  I would have never guessed the Namco font. But you're right , I can make a few mods to it, and come up with something really cool.

The "pretendo" font is the wrong font for what he's looking for.

no worries. It appears to be a sort of hybrid version of the Namco font. ^_^

Like motorfish said, it appeared to be a Namco style font ,which after I tweaked it a bit in PS , it turned out alright.
