Best Sega/Nintendo Hacks
« on: August 31, 2006, 03:30:00 pm »
I've noticed that in the full rom set for the Genesis, Nintendo, and SNES, there are dozens and dozens of hacks of games like Sonic and Super Mario Bros.  I've also noticed that the vast majority of these hacks pretty much suck.

Are there any that bring anything new to the table or are particularly cool?

I did get a laugh out of the hacked version of River City Ransom called "Wilford Brimley Battle".  Gotta love the walrus mustache.  haha.

Some of the sports games have good hacks available.  I've seen updated rosters for Tecmo Super Bowl, RBI Baseball, NHL 94, and NBA Live 97.  Some of the Tecmo Super Bowl hacks even have new formations and new plays.   :notworthy:
