Hi guys. I have Verizon dsl service. The give you a modem / router to use with there service. A few days ago I went to unplug the ac adapter and i noticed it felt pretty hot.

I called Verizon to see if i could get a new one sent but they won't unless it stops functioning.

Should I be worried about it getting hot ?

I don't want a fire.

A lot of adaptors get pretty warm.

Though they really shouldn't be *hot*.

You could always call and say it stopped functioning.
