Update on DOA stick problem
«

I was able to successfully install the stick on my other laptop which is also a gateway. I think the problem lies in when you first plug the stick in before you try to apply the xbox drivers. The two working computers both searched for a driver and installed the doa stick as a "A Microsoft Common Controller for windows Class" in the device manager, and were seen in the control panel under game controllers. After I applied the xbox drivers they both worked in mame.
So does anyone know how I can get the other computer to recognized the stick as a microsoft common controller for windows class? I think that would solve the issue

Looks like I spoke to soon. Although the new computer sees the stick fine, after I installed the xbox drivers they won't see them lol. Windows sees the stick fine, but opening the xbox utility shows no devices.
