That was pretty good.  Hard to tell what happened at first, but that replay at the end helped out.  Wonder why the car was being pursued?

Think the chainlink fence just wasn't attached at the bottom and it slid under the "flap"?

Looks like a clever video edit to me. The cars brake light is still on when the lights disappear. how does a car leave a cop in the dust if it still has the brakes slammed? There seems to be some slight inconsistency at the climax of the video. Also, there is something very familiar about this video...like I've seen it on Worlds scariest police chases. Specifically, the early point when the car does a 360 turn and the cop almost nails him.
My last point, if this video were real, then there is no mf'in way that the police department would let it out from under lock and key.

Maybe the chainlink was not attached at the bottom... but chainlink fences don't work that way, they are attached at the sides and never at the bottom. But perhaps this was a "trick" fence set up for specifically this purpose. Chainlink does sort of act like a curtain, I mean it comes on a roll, so they could have hung it from a top pole and used it as a predesigned getaway spot to evade cops. OR MAYBE IT'S A GHOST CAR!!! lol

Or maybe he turned and the cop wasn't expecting it so his turn was late and he missed the opening that the Ghost Car went through. That is what it looked like to me.

Retarded.  Funny, how when it "vanished" he happened to turn around, and the camera couldn't see what happened.  Yet SOMEHOW the cop got back on the trail.  They never lost it in the first place.

Then at the very end, when it makes a slight turn off the left side of the screen, THEN it somehow passes through the fence.

OR MAYBE IT IS A GHOST CAR! :lame:

Yeah, that's from World's Scariest Police Chases....why do you mention it like it's some big smoking gun revelation?

And those reality cop shows get all sorts of crazy footage, I don't see how this would be any different.

This whole thing would be alot more interesting with a daylight picture of the area of fence that guy went through.

That's what I thought too, especially since at those speeds the opening was probably half a kilometre back.

I watched this originally without sound, so I didn't hear the narrator dude. After a second view with sound, I realized this was the same vid from scariest police chases. It is crappy that they don't follow it up with an interview, investigation of the fence, or details on the license plate of the car.

Well if they did, then it would probably be obvious how he escaped and they could no longer call him the ghost car.

I never saw Dukes the movie but I wonder how it could be so bad. I am not disagreeing, mind you, that it totally blew chunks (I'm sure it did), but I am wondering HOW they could take a silly but solid classic TV concept and cast it with Willie Nelson (awesome), Burt Reynolds (also awesome), Johnny Knoxville (a person I hate but seems perfect for the role), some punk ass pretty boy as the other guy (never heard of him), some annoying pop tart as Daisy (I hate whats-her-name but her derriere is easy on the eyes), this cast includes some cool people, and of course you know they are going to do the General Lee up right since the world is in some insane million-dollar-muscle-cars phase, yet the movie is total garbage. Surely they spent plenty of coin to make this flick, why not just recycle some plot from one of the "better" (lol) episodes of the TV show and run with it? In other words: obviously this was never destined to be another Citizen Kane, but how could they screw it up? Seems like an easy no-brainer homerun fun movie. Yet all I hear about it is how awful it is.

Eric.

That pretty boy doesn't strike me at all as a pretty boy, but whatever.  In his defense he's really pretty good.  I haven't seen most of his movies, and admittedly the ones I haven't seen look mostly bad, but the ones I have seen have all been good or great:

American Pie
Road Trip
Bulletproof Monk
The Rundown
Old School

Saw all of those movies. Bulletproof Monk was kinda painful to watch (the fight scenes were decent, but should have been awesome with CYF in there), but the rest were good mindless fun.

As for the Dukes movie, I refuse to watch it at this point. Maybe I'll get really drunk some night and be able to force myself to, but I can't imagine watching it sober.

The Dukes of Hazard movie was basically the sequal to Dude, Wheres my Car?  except not funny.  I don't think anyone on the set ever even saw a Dukes of Hazard episode because it had nothing in common with the tv show (except for the General Lee, although they made fun of the paint job)

I had a free ticket to see the movie and still felt like I was ripped of for going to see it......

I thought it was going to be awful so rented The Dukes of Hazard, when I was having some car guys over I figured it'd be a good show to criticize.

We ended up really liking it.

If you don't think about the TV show and you have come to grips with the fact the the 80s are over, it's a good movie.

I've seen a couple of car commercials showing people in a car just talking and then they get into an accident.  The commercial is showing the value of airbags.  I think they got that idea from the scene where boss's car t-bones another car.  We had to replay that scene in slow motion a couple of times to see if it was real.

I'm looking forward to Beer Fest.
