Is there any way to test electronic tubes without a tube tester? I have a digital multimeter and an oscilloscope at my disposal

You really need a tube tester to check it properly. I have three of them myself.
About all you can do with an ohmmeter is check the filament to see if it's open circuit.

tube tester listed for free on craigs in austin tx... (in the free section) if you find it and contract the guy/girl i would be happy to pick it up and mail if for you...
