Happ Vision Pro 27" and new Arcade VGA
« on: August 25, 2006, 04:41:25 pm »
I emailed Andy on this but I figured I would get a faster response here. Will the ArcadeVGA work with this monitor? I read on one post when I did a search that it would not but it was a fairly old post and I was wondering if things had changed. I see there is a new ArcadeVGA out so maybe it has?

Thx
Mark

Ok I did some research and it looks like the Happ Vision Pro only supports :

Horizontal 30-40KHz

Vertical 50-120Hz

So I guess it will not work since the ArcadeVGA outputs 15khz?

I looked at some Wells Gardner monitors but I cannot figure out which is the best one. I need a monitor that will work with the Arcade VGA but can be plugged into a wall outlet and has the 15pin sub to plug into a video card.

Any suggestions? This Arcade Monitor stuff is new to me, been using regular PC monitors and TV's.

Thx
Mark
