Its not exactly a typical interface, but I think thats part of what makes it interesting. It all fit together pretty well, actually. What I plan on doing is using the space inside the box marked "Control Panel" as a control panel overlay. That way there can be absolutely no confusion as to which buttons do what.
I dunno... this was my first time using photoshop.. what needs work? What do you guys think? etc.

Thanks

Couple of comments:

I think you're going to need more space for your game titles. A majority of the game names are more than 5 letters long. I think you'll have a hard time finding a text color that shows up well against both the white dot and the black background.

Also,  I sort of expected the snap shot to align with something in the background image, instead of not aligning with anything.

Just some food for thought.

I agree with GC here.

A couple other things I see -
Codename Cocktail is a great name, but the white dot sort of made me thought it said CoOdename Cocktail (the dot sort of messes me up). Not sure how that could be fixed, but my initial impression is the name is lost and appears kind of flat.

Also, when I used my hand to the control panel and snap (like it would be in actual use) it's hard to see that it's a pac-man maze. I suspect once most of the blue walls are covered by the picture of the control panel and a screen shot it will be difficult to see what you were really after.

I dig where your going with this and it looks good. I know how it is working on these things for a while - you need a perspective of someone who hasn't stared at it for 4 hours. I attempted to use the control panel, but ultimately removed it because it actually confused more people than helped! I ended up just using the marquee graphics.

Looking good - keep up the good work.

Except for the bit about game titles.. that hadnt even crossed my mind.  :P

Anyway,
One thing I wanna ask thats kinda unrelated before I go.. is there a quick and neat way in photoshop to do the effect being done on kabal? Id like to play around with that for the PacMan and maybe some ghosts if I were to add them (theyd be on the third side where theres more room)

There's a filter in Photoshop called Motion Blur. Is that what you were thinking about?

Pacman themed Cocktail Mala background and CP Overlays-- Comments?

Well, it took me forever, but I tried the best I could to take your guys' advice to heart. Whaddya think?

The pictures should be pretty self explanitory...

...But incase they arent, the first two are CP overlays, the first one for players 1 and 2 and the second for the third side. And the final two pictures are the new, more simple Mala Layouts that I came up with.

Ohhh almost forgot: I tried to make the ghost's eyes match their personalities.
If its lost on you, they work like this (right to left)
Blinky: The Leader
Pinky: The Ambush..er
Inky: The Coward
Clyde: The Simpleton

Im not sure Im happy with Clyde's expression.. anyone have a better idea?

I think Clyde would look better if both his eyes were like Pinky's right eye.

I agree, his eyes didnt exactly emobdy stupidity, but luckily this came to me in a dream.

Pretty awesome dream, actually. I was getting chased around by the ghosts around my college campus. School anxiety and too much mame on the brain.
