marquee comments?

this is the marquee i've been working on, im not too happy with it, so any comments or opinions are appreciated

The logo is big an bold and that's a good thing. However, the background isn't doing its share of the work. I think you either need to find a patern that leads the eye to the center or add a graphic element that helps to anchor the logo and make it the focus of attention.

I'm personally not fond of the game characters.  For some reason I see your logo sitting on the CPO art from Tempest; here's a quick and dirty mockup of that:

I agree with Chris, game characters was not what I had in mind - I was suggesting a simple graphic element like an oval or a bar.
