cutting upright sides

I'm about to cut up the sides for an upright cabinet. Instead of cutting one, then stencilling to make the other, is there anythign wrong with doing this:
clamp both sheets together exactly lined up, making sure measurements are spot on, and cutting both sides at once with a circ saw?
Seems to be an easy way to me (in theory anyways!)

As long as your clamps are tight, and the pieces arent sagging, you'll be fine.  After they're cut, you can keep them clamped and sand the edges at the same time too, to get them both exact.

seems to have worked great. measurements were exact to start, so its saved me a bit of time

I did that, the I used a router and guides after the circular saw.  Looked like it came off of a cnc router.

I did that too (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=57189.msg572469#msg572469)and it works excellent! My opinion, that's the best way to do it when you don't have access to a cnc kinda machine.

I always clamp and cut both sides at the same time for accuracy and speed.
why cut both out twice? I have a Porter-Cable hand held sander for sanding the edges and it works FANTASTIC. Wish I'd bought it years ago.
