Beginner needs assistance with Fraggal's Boot CD ^_^

Hey everyone!

Ok. So, a few years back I converted a jamma cabinet to mame cab. I downloaded Fraggals boot cd (whichever version was out in 03) and with it, had my cabinet up and running in no time at all.

Well its been like 3 years now and the version of advmame that came on that disk (.62 i think) is a bit out dated im afraid.

Ive tried many times to update it manually but always end up with arcadeos not successfully making a rom list or not being able to load any roms at all.

So, I just downloaded, burned and installed the latest fraggal's, the one from april.

After installing and setting up my monitor, I rebooted my cabinet. The first hitch happened. Instead of booting into arcadeos, it just went into dos.

Easy enough, I just edited the autoexec so that it would go directly into arcadeos, but now im back at my original problem. Arcadeos is having trouble getting the rom list or something, so the list is empty.

Im pretty sure all of my config files are pointing to the right directories and such, so i just dont know what to do next.

Any little bit of guidance would be greatly appriciated.

Nevermind.
I switched to advancemenu.
I think i like it better anyway.
