I'm in a commercial. PLEASE HELP ME FIND IT!
« on: July 27, 2006, 11:33:13 pm »
After Tivoing every show in sight, I can't find a copy of a Captain Morgan's commercial that I am in.

You guys helped me in the past. Can someone post it on here if they stumble upon it? Or PM me?

It's the commercial where two guys go in to a Pizza joint and order a Pizza for delivery so they can hitch a ride with the delivery driver because they are too drunk to drive.

Thanks for your help!

OH! One more thing. Go watch my YouTube video. It's Funny!

Thanks!

That's the problem with comedy.  So many people don't think stuff is funny.

Dude you rule!

I had an apron on and I took the kids order. I act all weird when they say they want it delivered. You dont have to do anything fancy. I have a hard copy coming from the production company. I just dont want to wait 2+ weeks to see it.

Thanks man!

delta, thanks for helping him spam us all with that steaming piece.  I know it's not your fault, how could you know, after all, but I think this'll be a lesson for anyone else who thinks about helping him in the future.

Way to ruin the goodwill of a pretty nice forum with your spam-whoring of yourself, koolmoecraig.

Wait, I forgot the ***************************** ::)

Whatever shall I do about your obviously witty rejoinder that no doubt is soon to follow?  *yawn*

I have nothing witty to add (as usual), but a contributing member being excited about his career is a lot different than spam.  Craig owns arcade games and enjoys their discussion.  He's here for the right reasons and shoved this in everything else.  I don't see a problem. IMHO

Three different links, one thread sent to Post Hell, one dropping it into Peale's thread, and numerous OTHER members also calling it spam leads me to believe you haven't noticed his "excitement" is turning into a "HEAD ON, APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD!" commercial.

I asked someone to help me find a copy of the commercial. I didn't ask they they post it on here. I would have been perfectly happy with it emailed to me.

I guess you can consider me posting a link to my youtube video spam, but I thought the "Everything Else" was for links and things like that. And to tell the the truth, the more hits I get the better.  As long as I am allowed, I will keep posting links to my videos and advertise my upcoming comedy shows. It's how I make my living.

If it bothers you so much why don't you just ignore it? Seriously? It's not like i've been posting video everywheres. It's the first time i've ever posted a link to any video that I have done! Also, you aren't forced to read anything that I ever post so get over it.

As for the "post hell" thing. It got all crazy when people decided to berate my work and I decided to defend myself.

I have been a member of this community for quite a while. I have helped many people with their cabs and many people have helped me. I've never screwed anybody out of anything and I've always been treated well by other members. It's a video dude. A video. You can watch it or not. I don't care. You can like it or not, I don't care.(although I feel warm inside if you like it)

Delta did me a favor and I appreciate it. I am done with this thread. If you need to discuss this any further Drew, feel free to email me privately. Hell, i'll even give you my phone number. That way we can discuss your anger and hatred on the phone.(at night of course, I know how you are about using your daytime minutes.)

Oh, and here is the link to the video I am talking about:

Chump.

The spelling bee thing isn't very funny.  The pizza commercial was really good, though.

I thought the spelling bee thing was pretty funny, but in a crude low-brow humor sort of way.  I even tried to help you out a bit by posting it in another forum I'm a member of before you started to spam it here, but it didn't get too much of a response: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94273

The spelling bee thing isn't very funny.  The pizza commercial was really good, though.

I've refrained from providing my opinion until now, so I could coherently put my thoughts together.  Here goes nothing.

First time I watched the spelling bee I thought it had its funny moments.  I was a bit preturbed that you chose a medium with *children* for this type of 'humor'.  I know that you you had no interaction with these kids, save in the digital realm, but it's still a bit disturbing.

The kid you had clean the microphone?  Any reason he couldn't have sneezed and got boogers on it instead of what you said was on there?

I'm all for humor.  I love funny stuff.  I'm sorry to say the video was more vulgar than funny.  Doesn't have anything to do with cursing, and I'm certainly far from a prude.

I think you have the measure to be a good comedian, you just gotta work on your schtick.

As for posting your link 3,000 times on the forum...well...yeah...that was a bit annoying.  You had your say with your dedicated thread.  I didn't care how many times you posted the link in your own thread.  But when you started posting it at random in other people's threads, that's when things got a bit cranky.

In closing, I think everyone needs to calm down and take a Xanax, kick back and play some Defender.

Thank you for your opinion.

But

With all due respect Peale, where are all these "random places" that I posted it at? Seriously? If I'm not mistaken, the only place that I put this link was in a someones post about the Snuggles Laundry video. ONE OTHER PLACE and on top of it, it was COMEDY VIDEO RELATED!

How can you say "when you started posting it at RANDOM in other people's threadS."?

I don't get it man. There was no randomness about it and it was ONE other thread.

Good Grief...

For the record, if I were in the situation, I would have posted the link once in the initial thread and then just added it to my sig. Nothing wrong with advertising yourself, it's just a bit of sublety is appreciated.

Koolmoecraig, I just got done linking to your video in every thread on the Project Announcements and BST boards just like you said. It took me a while, but what good is art if it can't be viewed by everyone. I think I will get started on the Software and Consoles forums now.
