DK Jr. Monitor info needed.

Hey everyone. I'm working on a DK Jr. cab for a friend of mine. I have powered it up and verified a good boot. The only problem is the monitor isn't working properly, it displays intermittant bars and vertical dashes. As the game goes through play, or attract mode, the colors and patters change slightly on the monitor meaning it is getting a signal, but for some reason is unable to interpret it, nothing is intelligible. I have fiddled with the V and H-holds, and nothing has changed the output.

I read in another thread that I would want to get a cap kit for it, but I'm pretty clueless.

I got some numbers off the monitor: 510UTB22, I've done some research and it seems this is a Sanyo EZ20 monitor, but I'm not 100% sure.

Any help with identification and any fixes, including where I would get the cap Kit and how much it would be would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have the classic jail bars symptom. You need capkit # 301 ($6.95) from Zanen Electronics in Texas. Phone: (806) 829-2780. They do not have a website---you must telephone them.
