Mame 107 keyboard key issue

I just update to the lastest mame build and my buttons mapped to ctrl alt shift dont work.  they are set in the cfg file and the in game menu shows the keys mapped right but mame doestn seem to recognize these keys.  any ideas?

Sure you are using the right keys (as in left/right)?  Try mapping the controls again...

I mapped them many times.  for now i used , . and f12 in place of thes buttons.  it seems mame does not recognize those keys as buttons/movement anymore.  I tried it on 3 seperate machines.

Sounds like a hardware issue, check your switches and grounding.

nah it's not hardware related.  the keys work both from the keyboard and if i use them as buttons outside of Mame.  the issue is def mame.
