Advice on cab color scheme

I'm thinking black would look best with my sideart, but I dunno.  I'm colorblind so I don't do great on colors.  Anyway, here is a picture of the side, and the image I'm going to put on both sides.  The image itself is 39 inches long and about 25 inches wide.  I'm planning to put it about level where the monitor angle meets the controller angle.  So could I get away with a light blue or something else or is black my best bet.

For a Goonies cab, use browns, yellows, or dark oranges. This image would definately not work with blue.

In the event you needed a catch-all color, black would work in a pinch as well.

For the buttons, definately all yellow or orange. (probably yellow)

I won't tell you what colors to use until you do the truffle shuffle!

Seriously though, dark earthtones would be good, as to fit the whole cave feeling...maybe try to colormatch the cave from the sticker, and go a slight shade lighter. And black is always safe too.

I'll either do black or the color of the cave them.  Should I just let lowes match it up or should I go use the eyedropper to get an exact rgb value.   Here is the value I got in photoshop with the part I selected.

R:  124
B:  78
G:  38
There are so many different shades though its hard to tell which to choose

Just make sure that your background color is darker than the image, so that it recedes.  If you are thinking of using a gradient, use a dark brown at the top, and fade that to black at the bottom, this will give you a nice sense of depth (and the people at the top are much closer to the viewer than the people at the bottom, this will enhance the forced perspective).

Whatever you do, mock it up in photoshop first to see if you like it!

Well it would just be one solid color.  The image itself will remain the same, I'm just trying to figure out what color to paint the whole cabinet.  I will leave the background of the image transparent.
