WG K7400 and ArcadeVGA; good together?
« on: July 18, 2006, 01:58:47 pm »
Hello! I bought the ArcadeVGA and I'm looking for a good 25" monitor to go alone with it, and the K7400 seems like a good deal. I just wanted to know if I'll have any problems with this setup, if it's good or not, or if there is some other 25" monitor out there that I should look into. Thanks in advance!

If it's a standard res monitor you should be just fine.

If it's medium res...I'm not sure if the AVGA can do that.

Be warned that just about every k7400 monitor's flyback goes out within a year or two :banghead:

Ok, so I shouldn't get it then, right? I'm not looking to buy something that I'm going to have to replace in a year (or have serviced). I have no idea what to get now. I don't think a 27" monitor is going to fit in this cabinet.

I'm thinking that the D9200 is the way to go, i just hopw that I can make it fit in the cabinet.

EDIT: Or not. Seems the D9200 and the D9400 are of questionable quality. Hmmm...

It looks like the Betson is the way to go, now I need to find some way to mount it.  ;D

The Billabs monitor also seems to be a good choice.
