Movies work! However, clones don't show up. Shouldn't the clones show the same movie as the parent? Otherwise, I'd have to have many different pacman videos when I only need one.

One small thing. I was having a tough time with the configuration, until I realized that Atomic has changed to expect a config file named "Atomic017.cfg" instead of just "Atomic.cfg". You might change the default "Save As" to save as "Atomic017.cfg".

Also, the game list appears to not be in alphabetical order. Is there a switch for this?

I still not manage clone.  If you have a clone you need to have a video for the clone too. I will do something for that in future version.   I didn't have time to do that in that one.

Yes, you're right, it would be better.  In fact , i decided to rename all Atomicxx.cfg at each version, just to avoid a user delete his configuration by accident if he tries to update atomic by installing the new version in the same folder.  Doing that, the user has just to change the default start up config to his previous one.

If you use predefined gamelist, you have to sort your gamelist yourself.
If you didn't used predefined gamelist and just point to a folder (now Atomic will generate a gamelist for you) , you can make sort the game by name by clicking on :
Game list sorted by Name   (will sort by roms name)
or
Game list sorted by game name  (will sort by game title)

on the "general" tab of AtomicManager for the config you want.

(Before doing that, click on "Purge self generated game list" , otherwise he will re-use the gamelist it generated previously (not sorted)) .

I think you went on a bad site , because the site is no more  "under construction" since months.

The layout editor is working much better now! If only I can stop playing games long enough to create a few layouts...

 :)

Yes, i have corrected lot of youthfulness default on this version...   Therefore I have still lot of improvement to do, but i think this version of the new layout editor is quite good.

Hey Youki,

I don't see an update to the fulllist.txt Metadata - it's dated 2/6/06. Do you do that by hand, since you are putting the title and the rom name?

(Got the jump to next letter working - love it! Now, we just need that search option...)

Thanks for all the hard work!

That's true, i forget to update it.  You can regenerate it from mame with this command line :

Code: [Select]
mame -listfull > fulllist.txt

Then copy the file in the metadata folder.

I never forget user request. I always try to do my best to implement that they ask. Just a question of time. :)
