Watch Strap Broke How to Fix

Okay my watch strap came loose from the watch and when i looked closer the metal spring that holds it in place had scratched the plastic.  so now the hole it went into has a little path to come loose.

any ideas one how to fix it.  i put some super glue into the little pathway to try and fill it in but im thinking it will just rub the glue away or my sweat will also wear it down.  would liquid plastic work?  im going to get some anyway for a project im working on.  for now i can chill with the super glue and maybe tape for tommorrow since i have work and need to know how long to work.

thanks and yeah i should go to a watch repair forum but id have to fill out a lengthy appilcation and you guys are far more experienced then anybody ever.

Maybe the title is slightly wrong? If the watch strap is broken that is like a five buck replacement at the local lock-smiths for a new strap. If the watch strap socket on the watch is broken, that's a right royal pain in the butt. If it's not a watch you are happy to throw away, you are going to be running around on this for a while...

no its not a joke.  actually i found the watch broken at bradlees back in the day and i asked if they were actaully selling it since it was broken (strap was missing the buckle) and the clerk said they dont sell that brand.  i was like can i have it and they said sure.

i paid 20 for a new strap and a battery (expensive since it is digital).  i know thats nothing to some since i found the watch but its my only working one and has an alarm and is water resistant.  actually the super glue held and is still on after a few hours work.  i was worried since after i put the glue on it turned white when it was black before.  thought the glue dissolved the plastic but it seems fine now.

though if i get a new watch itll be the full metal pocket watch.  but its not like i dont have others.  i have 2 sets of the burger king star wars watches.  bought one set and got another from the display they had.

yeah its mostly sentimental value but really 3.99 for a my little pony?  f that i want one of the watches that are made by tiger electronics.  you can play games on a really small screen.
