I was just wondering if anyone had any information on someone releasing a new arcade stick for the 360 to go along with the release of street fighter II on live. Im not to crazy about the DOA alive stick but I cant play with the regular controller. I was hoping for another option
I don't know if you know this but I'm sort of a big deal. I own many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

This is BYOAC. :P

I haven't seen any other sticks, but you can build your own fairly easy like.

You can hack a regular 360 gamepad, and not have an L & R (though you would still have LB & RB for your 6 button layout), or you can "hack" the DOA stick, and have all the buttons.

Im to busy to start from scratch. If someone was offering something decent. Im sure I would mod it. The thing I dont like about the DOA one is the cheap plastic housing. It just looks cheap. I dont think I would want to waste my time changing the joysticks and buttons on it.

I've been trying to get more pics of panel artwork up, but I just can't find the time to go get a new digicam (yet).

That is a really neat product you have there.  I was wanting something that was small like that for maybe a laptop that I could carry around.  I'd love to see some more pictures of stuff like this.

After looking at it more closely I was sorta turned off by the pricing.  Maybe the price tag is due to the ability to swap out cartridges which wouldn't interest me that much.  I would just simply want a single arcade fighter with custom artwork.  Just my imo though...

The carts do add to the initial price.  When you buy additional panels and reuse the cart you have, or buy additional carts for the same panel, that's when you can actually save money.  It all depends on how many systems you have / will have.

There's a list of other builders on the shoyuken site you could also check out.

Okay, this may be a dumb question but could you hack a 360 pad into a wireless stick? I've never hacked a console controller. I guess build a wooden housing?

I've heard the DOA4 stick works fine.  I tried SF2 and I don't see why the DOA4 stick or hacked stick wouldn't work.

ouch! $80. I thought I saw these going for $50 a couple weeks ago. What happened? Did they stop making them?

Now that Streetfigher is out for XBL, everyone wants one. If you check Ebay, people are paying way too much for them.

It's the same idea as the Agetec Stick for the Dreamcast. As soon as people started modding them, the price shot way up.

VGO network had them on sale, but they sold out quick.

Works awesome! So much easier to pull of moves!

I got mine at Gamestop for 39.99. The box said 59.99 but it came up 39.99.

I like the feel of the joystick, I plan on making my cabinent sometime in the near future. What kind of joystick does this most closely resemble?
