Saw this console to VGA adaptor for $15; no idea how well it works, but certainly a cheap way to get a PS2 or XBOX into a cab based around a VGA capable monitor:

Wow. thats seriously on the cheap.
Id recommend it, simply because even if it puts out a poor signal, any signal is worth 15 bucks imo.

I used one that was similar to that one and the picture output was right on par with the std video out from the consoles. It wont upscan and improve the picture quality but it will allow you to display VGA.
