mini-itx?

Has anyone used a Mini-itx for an audio jukebox?  I know they have onboard audio, but also they have PCI slots or USB.  Is the on board audio good enough?  Or would I need some better sound then that?  If I do bump to something better, what is a good choice?

As for my plans, I roughly picture building something like a small touch screen which would lay on top of a rack stereo system.  So the audio would only get thrown to an outside amp.  I don't know if technically you would still call it a jukebox, but you get the idea.

Onboard audio on mini-itx would be fine...its the same audio as any other ATX board.  Hey we are only talking about Mp3s right..they are already degraded from compression anyway.

I'd give the onboard audio a miss and go with a PCI Sound Blaster Audigy...there a few different models, just get the cheapest because you only need 2.1 sound I presume. There roughly $50 (Aus).

Mini Itx- they work great, Sound is good, Just don't forget to order the power supply at the same time. Best of luck with your project.
