CP Wire Question

I have a CP with two 8 way and one 4 way do i just hook up the wires to the same up down left right on the ipac4 on player one also can you use the player 3 and 4 buttons for other stuff?

yes and yes.  Might be best to reprogram the player 3 and 4 buttons on the ipac so that you dont have to worry about configuring mame.
