Z26 Emulator Help. I need you guys to help test something.
« on: June 29, 2006, 12:34:00 pm »
Okay.  I have Z26 in my Atari2600 Roms folder.  I have a .cli with the following command:

-v18

From the acrobat file, it says that -v1N should open Z26 in a window with N video mode.  I can't get this command to work.  Could someone please try this and let me know if and how they were able to get it to work.  I am attempting to use this on a component t.v. and the only way it is playable and viewable is with this setting.  I have had it running in X26, but I would like to get it going in Z26. :banghead:  Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd say to double-check your config file and make sure the v is a lowercase v and not an uppercase V.

For me, when I used V (uppercase), it did nothing. Otherwise, v (lowercase) worked fine.

Granted, this was all on a PC monitor, but still...can't hurt to double-check.

Here is the command I ran at the prompt:

c:\emu\atari\z26> z26 -v18 combat

:banghead:  Thank you very much.  I just realized that I was dropping the roms onto z26 instead of using a command prompt when testing.  I just went and tried it out and all is well.  :banghead:
