Hello i have an xbox 360 and a pc with broadband connection what do i need to get set up for xbox live is it expensive is it easy to set up and how much is the subscripsion ??

Any help would be great cheers

sry for the noob questions but dont know anything about xbox live

xbox live for regular xbox is $50 a year but you can find cards cheaper on ebay or something. no idea bout xbox360. easy to setup all you need is broadband connection and a credit card.

Does xbox360 plug direct into my modem ??
or do i need some sort of wireless thingie  ??? as xbox is downstairs and pc is upstairs.

Yes, you can plug the ethernet cord direct into the modem.

A wireless network is not required to hook up to xbox live.  If you do have a wireless network the xbox 360 can connect to xbox live through it.
