Newbie Needs Advice on Monitor

I have a 21" Intergraph Monitor that i want to use in a cab. It has R,G,B, H-Sync, V-Sync connections at the back and the label says 50/60 Hz. Would this monitor be capable of running at arcade resolutions and if so is it really necessary. Thanks.

well according to what i just read thats a svga monitor so it will work on a standard graphics card,what type of plugs for signal input are on the back?

I would think you could make a breakout cable and come straight off the vga card.

The  monitor also has the standard vga connector. I guess what I really wanted to know if it would be capable of handling those 15khz arcade signals that I am reading so much about.

If you're using it with mame,  it's just fine, because your computer will convert those refresh rates to make it compatable with a computer monitor, but if you are using real arcade pcbs, you will need an arcade monitor.
