Fireworks Mounted on top of an RC Car
« on: June 22, 2006, 11:01:10 pm »
Last year for The 4th of July I covered one of my radio controlled cars with aluminum foil, mounted a firework cone on top of it, lit it and drove it up and down the street. Just an idea that you folks might want to try. but if you start a fire don't blame me.

If you guys have ever seen those high school rockets that they sell at hobby stores, you know that the rockets are launched by using rocket igniters which are like a battery powerd match, you connect + and - power to the igniter then it launches the rocket. Well it's possible to hook up an igniter to the power from an RC car, to the reverse power perhaps, so when you hit the reverse the igniter goes off.

Igniters can be seen here          http://www.postnukecomic.com/drespage/bodyhits.html
