Help with Mamewah
« on: June 22, 2006, 01:06:07 pm »
Well I installed the mamewah program a little bit of problem but it seems to work. Now i have the mamewah setup screen also i install the emulator i want and the rom path and it comes up on the mamewah screen the FCEUltra for nes roms works but the game screen never takes up the whole screen it stays as a small window how do i change that. Also when i use the second emulator which is kega Fusion for the sega genesis setting are the same as the nes emulator it never runs it freezes the mamewah screen and locks up and i have to end the program with a ctrl alt del can you tell me what i m doing wrong there?

You need to configure your video setting sfor FCEUltra within FCEUltra itself.

Fusion should work. I would suggest your fusion ini settings are incorrect. You'll need to provide more information such as your Mamewah Fusion.ini and a mamewah log.

Your mamewah files are in your mamewah folder in the config folder if you are using 1.62. :dizzy:

Could you tell me what forum thread had the screen shot?

In any case I'm sure you could do it in MameWah, it just might be a bit more fiddly to set-up for a beginner

I'm an AtomicFE user, but there is a config utility for Mamewah: it only works (fully) for version 1.61. You can download it here:

http://www.bluecamel.org/software/mc/mamewahconfig_161.1.zip

Note: it requires .Net Framework 1.1

(I don't use mamewah on my Cab because I want some 'on the fly' screen rotation options from the FE)
anyway............
I just tried this tool for interest sake
I think Steve did a good job on that config tool. He obviously put a lot of time into it.
