SNES key mapping for XArcade?
« on: June 18, 2006, 01:13:42 am »
Can someone tell me what and how to map the keys for the SNES emulator?
I'm running ZSNES v1.36.

I tried setting them in config/Input #1, but when I run a game, I get the following messages when I press these keys:
Player 1 = BG1 Layer enabled / disabled
Player 2 = BG2 Layer enabled / disabled
?? = Sprite Layer enabled / disabled  (I don't remember the key at the moment)

I also see that there is a GameKeys window, what is that?

I dont use zsnes v1.36 but im sure its same in the version i use.
zsnes uses button 1 and 2 to toggle background layers in snes.
Luckly you can go Misc > Game keys > and change toggle Toggle BG 1 and 2 to some other key than 1 and 2 so it doesnt interfere.
