without damaging the defogger?  or damaging the tint?

Take a razor blade to the glass and just peel away the tint.  Cut between the defroster lines if you're really worried about it, but you shouldn't do any damage.

You can't save tint... I doubt that is what you were saying, but just in case... that tint is ruined... you can't take it off without damaging it.
first off your and idiot

Man I love the internet, haha.

I think the defroster lines are what he's concerned about. They are basically stuck on to the window, and a razor blade might cut or damage them.

Let me know how it goes Fast, I need to remove my tint too.

I was worried about the lines not the tint. Have any of you ever tried other methods other than a heat gun?

the best method is really using the heat gun o n
the outside of the window (get a friend to help you),
peel from the inside,
starting at the corners with either a hardcard or
a plastic  putty trowel.

once you get a good lift, it shouldnt take you more
than 10 minutes to get it done with your fingers.

Yes, ive used "glue removers" for tint, razor blades, sand papers, and heat guns..

Heat guns work the best..  Close second, is razors + Glue removers (but) = Messy as hell

no no no.... Heat gun method leaves LOTS of glue behind typically.

Try this:
Get industrial grade ammonia cleaner at the hardware store. And a roll of saran wrap from the grocery store.
On a hot sunny day, spray the ammonia on the window film from the inside wetting the entire surface.
Working quickly, smooth saran wrap over the ammonia trapping it against the film.
Leave window with saran wrap and ammonia in direct sunlight for at least a hour.
Then SLOWLY peel the tint and saran wrap together.

Usually both layers of tint {tint layer and glue layer} will peel off almost completely in one piece this way, and no razor blade damage.

hmmmmm.......... breathing ammonia fumes inside a hot car you forgot to mention the part where he's supposed to keep the windows rolled up and it's best to do it when it's close to 100 degrees outside too.........

Yeah, Alot of tinting places just use windex and a razor. I didn't know about the saran wrap, cool tip.
