Microsoft sound mapper problem

HELP guys!

I installed cubase sx on my pc and now the microsoft sound mapper device won't work with acid pro, winamp etc.

Anybody got a handy solution? I've a mix CD I need finishing for the weekend!

maybe the default sound device got changed, so any software set to use "default sound device" would be pointing to an invalid device.

I'd say go in the options of those non-working apps and fix the options so it's set to your sound card device.
