As the title suggests, I'm curious what the difference between {safelaunch} and {nosafelaunch} is in MameWah...?

From what I gather, {nosafelaunch} is the tidiest method, but {safelaunch} is more reliable? Can anyone explain this on a more technical level for my curiosity's sake? :)
