OK...I have been banging my head against the wall for a while on this one  :banghead:. Somebody point out the obvious thing I am doing wrong.

I currently have 3 emulators setup. Mame, Nintendo, N64. I am using layouts that I downloaded for now.

Mame - 80s Arcade
Nintendo and N64 from "Caves Multiskin" set.

My Mame one shows up perfectly.
My N64 one shows up perfectly.
My Nintendo one all the images and the list are in the correct location but the background image is not there.

In c:\arcade\mamewah_v161\layouts\80sArcade\2-Nintendo-0.lay I have:
 800
 600
 0
c:\arcade\mamewah_v161\LAYOUTS\80sArcade\2-Nintendo-0.jpg
...
...
...

In c:\arcade\mamewah_v161\layouts\80sArcade\ I have 2-Nintendo-0.jpg which is 800x600 and 133kb.

The mamewah layout designer shows the image correctly.

The mamewah.txt file has the following in it:

Not sure but for starters unless you want list specific layouts I would rename the layouts to something like:

2-Nintendo.lay

The naming of the jpeg is probably to blame...but how it should be named depends on version of Mamewah.  For v1.61, see here: http://mamewah.mameworld.net/docs/layouts.txt

Basically it should probably be named 2-Nintendo-main.jpg

Arg....naming conventions killing me. Use a 0,1,2 here for custom lists....main here for this... I figured this out last night and got it working.

Thanks Minwah.
