Games running sideways
« on: May 11, 2006, 11:37:32 am »
I just finished my cabinet and am having a problem in that a number of my games appear sideways on the screen. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult to play Pac-man.

I am running MAME 0.105 on Windows XP and the roms I have are version 0.104. Could the older roms be causing the video issues? I have MAME32 (v.104) also installed and don't have the same video issues running MAME32 (v.104) with the same version roms.

Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to get a new set of roms.

You are running a intel chipset based video.

Go under display properties, settings, advanced, intel graphics properties, and look for and disable rotation.
