Native Resolution Question
« on: April 21, 2006, 05:36:16 pm »
Hey all, this should be quick.

If I bought a WG K7400 which is a standard resolution monitor, CGA, 15.5kHz, and hooked it up to an arcadeVGA card.  Would I be able to play all MAME games at their native resolutions?  I know I would be able to use windows at 640x480 which allows me to play all my other console and handheld emulators.  If it can't play some in their native resolutions, how do i I find or create a list of these games?

Thanks!

Would the mame.dat have a list of which games are EGA, CGA, or VGA?

Use the Mame Resolution tool from Minwah. Do a search for it on google, should be able to find it.
