Marquee Colors
« on: April 19, 2006, 02:08:38 pm »
Is it me, or do most of the marquees for mario bros look more purple-ish than blue-ish?

Examples:
blueish
purpleish1 and purpleish2

A few people have complained about the classicarcadegrafix marquee quality, and the arcadeoverlays marquee seems a bit purple... as does the vector art from http://vectorlib.free.fr that I would take to kinkos.

Might it come out looking more blue afterwards because of how it was scanned on these sites?  Or it is pretty much what you see is what you get?

Any help/opinions/experience would be greatly appreciated.

the background color will be easy to change in order to match the one you wish
but let me guess that Mahuti (the tracer) has done some job for the color matching, and that the purpleish background should be accurate.
I'm on the planning stage
