Game Launcher's Mamescan

For some reason Mamescan is not detecting my neogeo roms.  Any hints?

Is there a webpage that can show me athe various constraints and how they work?  Any premade files I can download.  That would make the whole process much easier.

yeah with all due respect to dave the mamescan has always been a little worthless.  Game Launcher was my fe for a looong time before I started writing my own and I could never get it to work.  Jakobuds method is best, it's similar to what I always did.

I have not messed with it, but from what the author says, he made it to replace Mamescan, since Mamescan doesn't work right most of the time.
