Any way to clean shadow mask?
« on: April 17, 2006, 05:09:12 pm »
I recently moved my arcade cabinet to my new apartment and when I reconnected the monitor (a 25" well-gardner) there was a small black dot in the middle of the screen. It's not on any of the exterior glass, and it's not coming from the video hardware; my best guess is that somehow a piece of something got on the inside of the shadow mask. Does anyone know if it's possible to get it flushed or somehow professionally cleaned? Thanks!
