Strange error message while loading vp-launch4.exe. Need help!

I get this error message when i try to startup vp-launch4.exe;

"The windows installer failed to install the program associated with this file. Please contact your system administrator"

Working fine untill a few days ago and i can't figure out what is going wrong.
Anyone else seen this before ?
