MAME works fine but slight line scrolling w./ LCD ?
« on: April 06, 2006, 10:32:38 pm »
While playing games within' MAME I'm seeing some screen scrolling on certain games. It's a slight annoyance I'm using a

NEC 19'' LCD LCD1970GX-BK with these specs:

"Ultrafast 8 ms response time; Rapid Response technology delivers virtually uninterrupted, undistorted viewing of high-speed, full-motion video

  400 cd/m
2,370,650 Gun.Smoke

I use a LCD monitor in my cab also (although my response time isn't as fast as yours) and I havent had any problems with it..

Im not sure what you mean by scrolling, but if you're talking about the tearing you see in some scrolling games, I think you can get rid of that by turning on the triple buffering.  I use MAME32 so I'm not sure how to do that in the command line versions.

Hope this helps!
