Submitting Artwork
« on: April 06, 2006, 04:52:51 am »
Hi Guys

Ive looked over this whole forum and looked and some amazing artwork and alot of you should be congratulated!

I would like to compile alot of custom artwork people have designed and place them on my site

Of cause the people have will allow me to place on the page will get all credit for these, but i really would like to share these with alot of the mame beginners around (even mame experts which graphics isnt their forte - like me!)   :notworthy:

If you are willing to share your artwork to a free site which is starting to take off i would, and many 100's of people will appresiate

You can either drop me a email with the high res image to mamedownunder@tsn.cc or paste a link here

Many thanks in advance to the people which will share these

Neil

I wouldn't have any problem contributing my work, but you are selling things on your site.  Unless I get commission, I'm not hip with helping you sell items.  I'm not saying my art would ever be used, but having art for free and other benefits to help encourage buyers, I'm not interested.

ive removed your links as well, as rom links at your site is a problem here. We do not allow links to sites or rom sites themselves. Thanks for your understanding.

this a little unfair removing the links when every topic has a link to someones webpage

mccoy178 - the only thing i sell is cabinets, although im trying to build a free site, which offers everything (the other is sponsors, to stay alive)

No issues with what you do, I just don't agree about putting my stuff on a commercial site.  The original post made it sound like you were providing a resource only kind of thing.

simply put, if you remove any and all links to roms or where to get roms, i dont think we will have a problem with you reposting your link here. If people wish to contribute art, im sure they would do so, we have nothing against sharing things of that nature. I only removed the links due to my seeing rom links. Good Luck to ya.

and hell everyone on this board has roms, how can one be so against them, but have them and use them everyday

Almost like your parents telling you not to smoke cause its bad for you, while having one in their mouth

So because this site has a link to a link to a roms site its bad? doubt that

i think this is getting off the track of sharing artwork

This will be the last time i say this. We have no problem you doing your submission of artwork involving your site. But as the rules are clear here, no rom links. Your webpage STILL has a romlink on it. Please remove it and we can move beyond this. This site involves discussion and building of arcade controls and various aspects of arcade machines and controls. I cannot be more clear on this.

There is no discussion of this, no reason to test us on this and question why.

NIVO, you may want to remove the link in his profile also.  I think he is just doing this to get people to visit his site, sorry if I am wrong about that.  His profile link should be removed though.
I b**ch. People listen!!
