Questions about juke boxes
« on: April 03, 2006, 10:56:08 pm »
So I am finally thinking about building one.
My question is can you pick songs and have them in a queue like a real juke box?  Whick ones do it?

Thanks,
Southpaw

Yes.

You would be better off looking at the sticky in the Audio/Jukebox/MP3 Forum to see what's out there.

Personally, I use SK Jukebox.

Are you going to just want MP3 or will you go all out with music videos as well?

AtomicFE offers a simple JukeBox.   Can play MP3 , WAV or etc..  and manage play list.

Compatible with arcade control.

But will they go into a queue like a real Juke Box?  I want to be able to set this up and let people pick songs to be played while the Juke Box is still playing the current song....

Thanks,
Southpaw

There are a number of jukebox programs that behave this way, many writteny by other BYOACers.  Take a look at the Wiki page on them at http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Jukebox_Software .
