rolling B&W screen
« on: April 03, 2006, 01:52:32 pm »
I tried hooking up a 27" tv to my computer last night for my arcade and all I get is a rolling B&W screen on my tv. I tried using a S-Video cable and then tried the s-video-composite connector with a yellow rca cable. Both had the same result. I am using an ATI9550 video card running on XP. Does anyone have any suggestions?

well either your setup is wrong or your graphics card is shot, have you tried properties on your graphics card so the tv is loaded as new hardware

Does the card have a setting for ntsc or pal?

If so, if you are in the us (Or japan), use ntsc.

Europe, use pal.

(This is usually setup under advanced graphics properties, also, some cards have a physical jumper to set)

P.s. lopti is weird.....   :laugh2:
