Need some more ideas

Ok, instead of artwork for my bezel I decided to make it a 3D sculpture.  Here's how I got the idea.

This isn't a good picture but if you look closely you will see I have a model plane on my "shelf" on the arcade.  It's a F4U Corsair on a clear stand to make it look like it is flying.  It's pretty cool.  I like it sitting there.

I also have this pacman patch sitting on top of hte monitor.

That got me thinking, I want to make my bezel art, and possibly side art, out of stuff.  Preferably game memorabilia.  However I like the plane, and I do like hte 19## series.  I also like racing games so I might get some hotwheels and paint on a road over part of the bezel.

I know there was some board games (like double dragon), I am going to try to find some of those and use the game pieces.

Are you thinking of putting the 3D pieces ON the marquee or IN the marquee.

I think it would look cool to have a little 3D diorama of arcade related items inside the marquee area...is that what you mean?

That would be a cool idea too.  I was just thinking around the bezel for now.

I am thinking of making my marquee out of sheet metal.  Cutting out something in it.  Putting plexi behindit and use that faux stain glass paint.
