The Typing of the Dead rises again!!
« on: March 30, 2006, 11:55:29 am »
This game is abandonware (was once featured on Home of the Underdogs), and a very rare game indeed, so I thought I'd pass along this link. It has risen again, at the pirate bay:

So they consider 5-6 year old software from companies still in business to be "abandonware" now?

NO MORE!!

I'm sure I'll feel like a complete idiot when someone tells me how, but I can't figure out how to exit the game.

I couldn't figure out how to exit the game either.  I had to go scrounge around on the net until I stumbled upon the trick:

Exit: Alt+F4

I guess it makes sense that they would make it a difficult key combo because it would probably accidentally exit while playing, but that was still a bugger to find.

I own that game.  I threw it on my PC at work and play it so it sounds like Im typing away.  Very fun game.

It's tough, too.  I type 80-90 wpm consistently and the game is very challenging.
