Trouble starting a game using command line mame in XP Pro...
« on: March 29, 2006, 12:45:27 pm »
When I start a game in either Mamewah or AtomicFe I see the command box for a moment then the "do you want to send this error to Microsoft" screen pops up and no game.  I'd guess it's a mame issue since it happens it both front ends.  Is there something I'm missind in the mame files or ???

Loaded it in another computer and everyting works fine so now I'm guessing it's hardware or driver related?  Humm wonder what it could be as Win32 works fine on this same machine along with many other emus!  :banghead:

Run MAME from a commandline (not from a FE) on the PC with the problem...and any problems should be reported back.

May you are using mame DOS version instead of mame win32 command line version.
