Ideas for Cab artwork
« on: March 25, 2006, 04:29:55 pm »
I got inspired by an overlay I found on here, so I decided to go with a TRON theme instead of anything I previously listed. It's far from finished, but it should give you a good idea if what I have in mind. The characters on there are not permanent. I just need to find some Tron Vector art.

Started on the Marquee. It's pretty bare now...

Does anyone have a source for Vector art for Tron (Movie) or Tron 2.0 (Game)?

Out of the ones you've posted, I'd have to say 3 and 4 are my favorites, but even those are somewhat busy.  I'd try to work the art into and around the buttons, rather than just having an image with buttons placed on top.

Also, do you need 7 buttons on players 3 and 4?  From what I've read and seen, there aren't any games that use more than 4 buttons for those two players.

Ah yes. This is a variation of the graphics I made a few years ago. Flattered that people are still using this layout so often. Even my icons made it into the design. ^_^

Have you paid your dues Jack?......Yessir, the check is in the mail!

Actually yes Motorfish..I can't think you enough for providing your artwork..I still intend to use the icons in mine. My layout is done...I just need to add the icons and add a background image but I like the look of a grid over it as well...I just wish I could figure that part of the artwork out..
