Raster Character Art Source?
« on: March 22, 2006, 10:33:30 pm »
I know everyone is crazy about vectorized artwork.. My question is...

Is there a good source for rasterized character art?

I've seen many marquees with lots of characters which are obviously raster.  I know they don't scale well and will be blocky when printed but I'd still like to add some to my artwork.

So.. Where does everyone get these pics?  Are they just doing screenshots of games?  I have a feeling they aren't because I've seen many marquees with the same exact raster characters.

I appreciate any tips!

You can print raster graphics just fine if you print them at 300 DPI from their native size.
