I want to get one of the control panel graphics from mamemarquees.com (time warp) and add small graphics to it like button labels, joystick and trackball arrows, ect.
What is the best way to do this?
I was thinking of printing out the additions on a clear overhead transparency type of material and then just using that as an overlay for the timewarp artwork. I figure if I do it in one big piece that is the exact shape of my control panel you shouldn't even be able to tell it's there (no faint outline of it's edges). Has anyone tried something like this or maybe a different technique to accomplish the same thing? I am really not sure what material to use or where to get a big enough piece. I do have access to a 42" color HP Design Jet 5500, so once I get material that will work printing shouldn't be a problem.
I tried to contact the staff at mamemarquees to see if they'd help me get this done but they stopped responding to my emails so I assume that means they are not interested in working with me on this.
Any ideas??
