condensed version o' my story

I bought a 99 NFL Blitz with a monitor problem.  I know it's a 25 inch WG monitor, but I don't know what type.  Before someone lights me up for not looking.  The game is in storage at my grandmothers (2 cities away).  I'm going there tomorrow to try to solve the monitor mystery.  She's not in the computer age so I would have to drive there and come back after I lloked up some troubleshooting info.  Does anyone know what type the model type that came with that game is?

If it's a factory dedicated unit, it should have a wgK7501 in it, or a wgU5000.

The ID tag on the monitor is usually visable through th cabinet vent/handles.

I checked the back of the monitor but there's no ID tag.  It looks like the monitor was replaced since there is a marking in yellow pen (similar to someone getting a replacement window from the bone yard).

The monitor game plays blind and the monitor makes a ticking noise.  What could this be?

Sounds like it needs a flyback replacement, capkit, or both.
Signature tags are dumb.

Next time take some pics of the monitor (front/back/chassis) and post them in the Monitor section of this forum.
